Made for the last careful pass
SubtitlePad is an independently published browser utility for editing, timing and delivering subtitles. Its interface is available in English and Arabic. You can work with two linked language tracks, preview captions against video, check timing and reading speed, and export clean files.
The publisher operates this service under the SubtitlePad product name. Product support and privacy enquiries are handled at kout@me.com. There is no account or cloud project sharing service.
What it does well
Readable cue rows, exact timecodes, local playback, SRT/VTT/ASS/SBV conversion, basic TTML import, reviewable timing changes, a cue-sheet PDF, and optional local speech transcription and video encoding.
What still needs your judgement
Automatic checks cannot guarantee correct translation, synchronization or broadcaster compliance. Speech recognition can make mistakes. Preview every deliverable and retain your source file. Subtitle/video exports have no mandatory SubtitlePad watermark.
Sources and craft
Language names and locale hints come from Unicode CLDR. Licensed open-source components handle speech, video and subtitle parsing. Read the source and license notices. The sample scene is a fictional demonstration with a scripted voice; it is not a testimonial or a documentary claim.
